FASHION IN 2023: LOVE & HATE
As we look ahead to the fashion trends of 2023, there are some styles that I love and some that I hate. From neon colors to streetwear, here’s a look at the fashion trends of 2023 that I’m loving and loathing.
NEON COLORS
I LOVE the bold and bright neon colors that have been trending in 2023. From bright yellow to electric blue, these colors really make a statement and can add a pop of fun to any outfit. I’m especially loving the neon green and pink colors that have been seen on the runways and in streetwear.
STREETWEAR
I LOVE the streetwear trend that has been growing in popularity in 2023. It’s a great way to combine comfort and style, and it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I’m especially loving the oversized jackets and joggers that have been seen on the streets.
SLEEVELESS COATS
I HATE the sleeveless coats that have been popular in 2023. While they look nice at first glance, they are not very practical and can leave you feeling cold in the winter months. I think they are a bit of a fashion faux pas and would prefer to stick to more traditional coats.
LOGO MANIA
I HATE the logo mania trend that has been all the rage in 2023. From designer labels to streetwear brands, logos are everywhere. It can be a bit overwhelming and I think it takes away from the creativity of fashion.
OVER-SIZED BAGS
I LOVE the over-sized bags that have been seen in 2023. They are a great way to add a bit of style to an outfit and can hold all of your essentials. I’m especially loving the tote bags that have been seen on the runways.
As we look ahead to the fashion trends of 2023, there are some styles that I love and some that I hate. From neon colors to streetwear, I’m loving the bold and bright colors and the oversized bags that have been seen on the runways. However, I’m not a fan of the logo mania trend or the sleeveless coats that have been popular this year. No matter what your style is, there are sure to be some fashion trends in 2023 that you’ll love and some that you’ll hate.
honestly would love to see grunge style come back in style or like the 2013-2015 tumblr girl style 😭
I take a quick break from keeping an eye on trends and everything changes. I haven't noticed any of these trends IRL.
i crochet a lot and ive noticed more people working with mohair/faux mohair lately
i love the jellyfish dress!! i had a brown dress with a few details kind of like that when i was a kid, it was a hand me down from someones teenager and i wish i had kept it so i could have worn it at some point in my life
Your makeup is perfect on this video. So precise and clean, well done 👏🏻 Also the hair is so so cool ❤
This was great! You’re the best fashion channel ever 💗
Cottage cooooooore
back in the mid-00s I used to layer colorful fishnets over vivid tights —and target had soooo many colors. I miss that look tbh
Not sure how I feel about these trends but I might try a couple
This generation's incessant need to add ~core~ to the end of literally anything makes me hate fashion/trends now.
lowkey want black skinny jeans in like that punk british 70s way to come back – im almost scared to get some and wear them in case people think im incredibly out of date lmao (which is silly as im heralded as a fashion icon at school, acting, where ever i go, but still ykyk)
what makes me sad about this is I'm 33 which means my 20s were dominated by minimalist, beige, grey, griege, oatmeal, "high quality" d2c business casual stuff and it was hard to deviate from that socially,. I bought so many things that just are not me to feel more professional and adult, and it just feels like a waste and not fun. Also I struggle to know who actually looks good in oatmeal.
If the 2010s are coming back can we please bring back cat ears I have so many of those from like 2017
Having war flashback from when I was maybe 14 in 2009 and had yellow ”workout” hotpants with grey patterened tights under. Same with the 3D flowers. I had a broach I put on everything 😵😵 I also had silver ballet flats and leg warmers during this time period. I think this is why I hate on so many trends atm haha it remins me so much of me early-mid teens, I’m NEVER going back to 2010s fashion
when you were talking about accessorizing bags i thought to my ita bag lol.. it's something i don't take with me often because it's a bit nerdy but thanks for mentioning them and im glad to see the style in trend!
فور 🙃🙃🙃🙃
i need to see STEAMPUNK fr
I like taking inspo from trends, but honestly my overall style has stayed pretty consistent since I found a look that I love. Especially since you can make really anything stylish with accessories.
