In our example, we used cotton for a lighter finish.

Please note that the amount of yarn needed will depend on the desired length of your cardigan. For reference, our cardigan measures 43 centimeters wide by 68 centimeters long, and we used approximately 500 grams of yarn. Additionally, you’ll need a crochet hook, a woolen needle, scissors, and a tape measure.

Let’s get started! We’ll begin with creating a slip knot and forming a ring with our yarn. Then, we’ll make a series of chains followed by double crochet stitches. Remember to turn your work and continue with double crochet stitches for subsequent rows.
