Are you looking for a reliable way to accelerate your tree’s growth? Look no further! In this video, we will walk you through the safest and most effective root training method that guarantees remarkable results.

To start, let’s prepare the planting site. Measure out an 80cm by 80cm (2.6 feet by 2.6 feet) square and dig a cone-shaped hole 80cm (2.6 feet) deep. Make sure the hole has sufficient space for the tree’s root system.

Now, it’s time to ensure optimal soil conditions for your tree’s growth. Drop some rocks into the hole to prevent any tube blockages. Add one bag of compost and two bags of soil to the hole. This will provide your tree with nutrient-rich soil, allowing its roots to establish and flourish without struggling against compacted soil.

Let’s proceed with planting our olive tree. Take the potted tree and measure the soil level in the pot. From the base, we have a measurement of 22cm (8.8in). Fill the hole with mixed soil, stopping at the 22cm (8.8in) mark, right below ground level.

Place the tree into the hole, ensuring the soil around its roots remains intact. If necessary, use a sharp knife to carefully cut away the base of the tree for easier transplantation. Cover the roots with the remaining soil, gently patting it down to ensure stability.

Watering is a crucial step in promoting healthy root development. Pour 5 liters (1.3gal) of water into the tube and another 5 liters (1.3gal) on the surface. This method gradually trains the roots to reach deeper for water while still accessing the surface for nutrients. As time passes, gradually shift more water towards the tube and less on the surface.

After 2 or 3 years, when the roots have properly established, remove the tube from the tree. The results will astonish you! This method has been proven to accelerate tree growth by 2 to 3 times its normal rate. Just take a look at this healthy and robust tree that we planted using the same technique a few years ago.

To protect your tree from wind and freezes, consider installing poles and wrapping the tree in half shade. This additional care ensures longevity and maintains the tree’s health during harsh weather conditions. In fact, we’ve also planted an orange tree using the same method, and it’s thriving!
