*[Opening prayer]*

[Verse 22]
Jesus instructed his disciples to embark on the boat and go to the other side while he dismissed the crowds. He then went up to the mountain to pray alone. Although the boat was already far from land, battered by the waves due to contrary winds.

[Verse 25]
In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified, thinking it was a ghost. They cried out in fear.

[Verse 27]
But Jesus immediately reassured them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” Peter responded, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” Jesus said, “Come.” So, Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water towards Jesus. However, when he saw the strong wind, he was afraid and began to sink, crying out, “Lord, save me!”

[Verse 31]
Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught Peter, saying, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” As they both got into the boat, the wind ceased. Those in the boat worshiped Jesus, acknowledging him as the Son of God.
