## Transcript Highlights:
Busy lives can be overwhelming, but we all deserve a bit of peace and tranquility. In this video, Charlie and Graham show you how to transform your backyard into a serene Zen garden. Join them on this journey as they create a little piece of paradise.
Maisie, the homeowner, has always wanted a Japanese garden for its tranquility and beauty. The team starts by clearing out the space and creating a leveled area. They then proceed to build a deck, add stepping stones, boulders, and gravel, and incorporate a water feature. The result is a stunning and calming Japanese-inspired oasis.
To achieve the desired look, they use specific materials, such as treated pine sleepers for the decking, Japanese maple and Camellia plants for the garden, and gray stones to create contrast. The team also pays attention to details, including the diagonal placement of the decking boards for visual interest and the addition of lighting to enhance the ambiance.
Finally, they build a gate that complements the theme of the garden, complete with bamboo screening and a unique handle. The finishing touch is a simple and beautiful water feature, adding both visual and auditory appeal to the space.

Beautiful, tranquil ❤
Beautiful
Where to get the bamboo together like that?
wowww
Brilliant makeover. Just one question about posts. I heard somewhere that you do NOT want to encase post in cnooncrete so that cut end is draining and there is no standing water all around it in encasing in case wter comes from the top. Which is it then?
I’m in love with everything! You guys worked so hard but made it look authentic! I am truly jealous!
very good
How much about it?
Buen video
The sound of water flowing is too loud, flowing too hard. If you close your eyes, it's like the sound of a man peeing in front of the house

Need an asian to create an asian garden.
A Japanese to create Japanese garden, etc. Otherwise it looks pretty but fake.
Something is not just right.
Lol I like how mowing a patch of grass the size of my bedroom every 2-3 weeks is too much maintenance for her.
This is a beautiful space!
