Desde hace cinco años, Elle México Diseña se ha dado a la tarea de encontrar los nuevos talentos de la moda local. Muestra de ello fue la presentación que pudo apreciarse en el MBDFM 2012 en el que participaron Vianet Covarrubias y Kris Goyri, ganadores de la segunda y de la cuarta edición, respectivamente.

Tomar aquello que la naturaleza brinda y transformarlo en ricas prendas fue la propuesta de Vianet Covarrubias quien, inspirada en la tribu massai de la África negra, presentó una colección en alta moda donde los protagonistas fueron el simbolismo y misticismo de las primeras tierras que vieron la vida.

Basada en la ornamentación de éstos, Vianet jugó con las texturas y caídas de telas como tafetas, sedas y gasas acompañadas de detalles plisados y drapeados, así como flores hechas de tela. Colores vibrantes y llamativos tales como el amarillo lima, naranja brillante, verde esmeralda y azul eléctrico, recorrieron la plataforma.

En el caso de Kris Goyri, sobre la pasarela desfilaron siete siluetas ultra femeninas que liberaron, a cada paso, frescura y ligereza. La vaporosidad se potenció a través del trazo de las líneas y la selección de materiales entre los que destacaron las gasas de seda.

Se vieron vestidos largos, faldas amplias y blusas holgadas cuyo movimiento dibujó un amanecer en colores pálidos como el morado, rosa y azul. Kris complementó su trabajo con el estilismo y la joyería de Adele Cany, así como los zapatos de BCBG para Vince Camuto.
