Welcome back to my channel! In this video, I will be making a large grocery bag that is inspired by the small plastic bags you find in the produce section of supermarkets. You can choose to make this bag with or without lining, and I will show you both methods using the free pattern provided in the link below.

Instructions:
1. Download and print the pattern from the link in the description box.
2. Lay your fabric in the fold and cut out the shape according to the pattern. Remember to leave a 35cm distance from the top corner to the bottom for the bag’s depth.
3. If you’re making a lined bag, repeat the previous step for the lining fabric.
4. With right sides together, sew the side edges of the outer fabric together. Repeat for the lining fabric.
5. Fold and press the bottom edge of both fabrics by 1cm. Sew across to secure.
6. Attach the handles to the outer fabric by folding them in half and sewing them to the sides.
7. Sew the bottom edges of the outer and lining fabrics together, leaving a 10cm opening for turning.
8. Turn the bag right side out and press the opening edge. Topstitch around the entire bag, closing the opening as you go.
9. Attach the handles to the lining fabric, folding them in half and sewing them to the sides.
10. Insert the lining (if using) into the outer fabric, aligning the side seams. Pin everything in place.
11. Starting from the outside of the bag, sew around the top edge, securing the handles and closing the bag.
