Mi Cocina’s Delicious Arroz con Leche Recipe

### Arroz con Leche with a Twist | Easy Mexican Dessert Recipe

Are you a fan of arroz con leche? It’s a delicious traditional Mexican dessert, but in this video, we’re going to give it a twist! Instead of the usual way of preparing it, we’ll be cooking the rice separately and creating a creamy reduction that will take this dessert to the next level.

To start, we’ll steam the rice until it’s perfectly cooked. Adding three times the amount of water, a cinnamon stick, and allowing the heat to do its magic. On the other hand, we’ll mix milk, cream, and sugar to create a reduction that will enhance the flavor of the dessert. This reduction will need to be carefully monitored for approximately 25-30 minutes.

Next, we’ll combine the steamed rice with the reduction in a bowl. The rice will have a delightful aroma from the cinnamon stick, so there’s no need for powdered cinnamon. We’ll then move on to making soy flakes, which will give our arroz con leche a fantastic texture. In a non-stick skillet, we’ll pour soy milk and create a thin layer that will slowly reduce and become crispy.

Now it’s time to plate our dessert! We’ll add a touch of white chocolate to the rice, giving it a hint of sweetness without overpowering the flavors. And to make it even more exciting, we’ll sprinkle the soy flakes on top, creating a surprise element. Finally, no arroz con leche is complete without a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream.

  1. Éste Cher me decepciona, ni parece que participa en Masterchef.
En las preparaciones dulces es indispensable una pizca de sal para potenciar el sabor.
Si fuera participantes ya lo hubieran corrido.
    LE FALTA SAL!!!!
