In this video, I will be sharing with you all my review of the Samy Cosmetics foundation. It’s been a while since I last did a review, but here I am again with something you all love. This foundation is the one I used in my “Makeup Challenge with 50,000 Colombian Pesos” video. If you haven’t seen that video yet, I’ll leave the link in the description for you to check it out.

Let me begin by saying thank you to each and every one of you for your support through likes, comments, and sharing my videos. I truly appreciate it!

Now let’s dive into this review. I’ll be applying the foundation on the right side of my face using my favorite brush, and on the left side, I’ll be using my fingers. The application is quite easy with the brush, and it gives a light coverage. However, I can still see some imperfections, like a little blemish here and there. On the other hand, when applied with fingers, it gives a better coverage and a more natural finish. It leaves a dewy effect and a luminous look.

I’m demonstrating the finger application because I know not everyone has makeup brushes, and I want to show you how it looks when applied with fingers. It might take a bit of patience and tapping to distribute the product evenly, but it’s really easy to blend.

As you can see, the side with finger application looks better, especially in the areas where I have open pores. The side with brush application shows more texture and pore visibility. The foundation I’m using is the Samy Cosmetics Q10 Active, which contains cucumber extract, Q10, and sunscreen. It has a lightweight texture, allowing for easy application and giving a radiant and natural look to the skin all day long.

This foundation cost me 8,000 Colombian Pesos. It comes in a flat packaging, which is great because it won’t break if accidentally dropped. The dispenser is plastic and requires pressing down fully to get the product out. It dispenses quite a lot of product, so be careful when using it.

In terms of scent, it has a subtle and pleasant smell, but it’s not overpowering. Personally, I don’t mind the scent of makeup products.

The packaging states that it’s suitable for combination skin. However, I feel like it works better for dry skin because it leaves a dewy finish. In my experience, living in a hot climate, it lasts for around 2-3 hours before it starts to get oily, especially when I set it with compact powders.

Overall, I had high expectations for this foundation, but it didn’t perform as well as I hoped. However, everyone’s skin is different, so it might work better for someone with dry skin. If you have dry skin and you’re looking for a lightweight foundation, this might be a good option for you.
