Hi friends, it’s Lauren from Craft Some Joy, back with another edition of Scrap with Me Times Three. In this special episode, Kylie, Noreen, and I are using the Heart To Help paper pack by Creative Memories to continue their fundraising efforts for the Ukraine. Now, let’s dive into the fun and create a two-page spread using the Heart To Help paper pack. But before we begin, let’s gather our supplies. We’ll need the Heart To Help designer paper pack, two sheets of blue cardstock, repositionable adhesive, regular adhesive, micro tip scissors, tape chips, foam squares, 12-inch trimmer, personal trimmer, and a multi-purpose tool. And of course, our trusty Creative Memories cutting mats.

For this layout, we’ll be using specific papers from the pack. You can follow along with the same papers or mix it up to suit your style. We’ll be using two sheets each of the heart and yellow heart paper, one sheet of bright yellow polka dots, and two sheets of the blue with light blue lines. Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through each step.

But that’s not all! We’ve also created unique embellishments for this collection. You can find them in the handouts, ready for printing and cutting. If you’re skilled with a Cricut or Silhouette, you can also use those machines to print and cut these embellishments. Today, I’ll be showing you how to hand-cut them to keep things simple.

Let’s start with our 12-inch trimmer and the dark blue dot paper. We’ll cut a 2 by 12 inch strip. Set it aside. Next, we’ll use the lighter blue striped paper with the small sunflowers. Turn it vertically and make two 1-inch cuts and one 2-inch cut. We’ll be using the flip side of the 2-inch strip, so keep that in mind. Set the rest of the paper aside.

Now, let’s get creative with the remaining sheet. We’ll be “gutting” the paper to create a unique design. I’ll guide you through this technique, but feel free to skip it if you prefer to layer directly on top. This technique helps save paper, so it’s worth a try. Once you’ve completed that, we can move on to our layout.
