SERGIO ROSSI APPOINTS INTERIM CEO PAUL KOTRBA
Italian luxury footwear and accessories brand, Sergio Rossi, has announced Paul Kotrba as its new CEO on an interim basis. Kotrba is a seasoned global retail executive with 25 years of consumer-focused brand-building experience, having previously worked in various leadership positions within LVMH, LCatterton, and Lanvin Group operations. His previous role as interim COO at Lanvin’s Wolford operation witnessed him streamline IT and operations, initiate a company-wide restructuring, and define a roadmap to reach profitability in 2023.
THE NEW ROLE
As Sergio Rossi’s new CEO, Kotrba will play a vital part in retail and wholesale expansion strategies across the world. He will also guide e-commerce developments into new territories while further strengthening the brand’s position in Japan and supporting the fast-growing brand presence in Greater China. BACKGROUND
Before his new role at Sergio Rossi, Kotrba was CEO at premium Australian swimwear brand, Seafolly and built up his industry experience over 15 years at Donna Karan and DKNY in New York, where he ran global sales and business development.
