# How to Make Blueberry Jam with No Pectin – Canning 101 for Beginners

Looking for a simple and delicious canning recipe? Look no further than this blueberry jam recipe that requires no pectin! In this video, The Homesteading Housewife shows you how to make a basic blueberry jam that can be used for other berries as well.

## Ingredients
– 9 cups of blueberries
– 6 cups of sugar

## Instructions
1. Mix together blueberries and sugar in a heavy-bottomed pot. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
2. Cook on medium-high heat until the mixture reaches gelling point (220°F or until mixture can form a strip on a frozen spoon or plate when chilled).
3. Fill mason jars with the mixture, leaving a quarter inch of headspace.
4. Wipe the rim of the jars with white vinegar and seal tightly with lids and rings.
5. Process the jars in a water bath canner for 15 minutes.
6. Let jars cool for 5 minutes before removing from the canner.
