Stunning Transformation: Impeccable Renovation of a Ralph Lauren-Inspired Home

Welcome to today’s episode of Homeworthy, where we’re taking you on a tour of interior designer Javier Burkle’s stunning bungalow in Dallas, Texas. In 2015, Javier renovated this charming home, restoring each room to its original glory. Prepare to be captivated by the beautiful layers of textiles, patterns, and colors throughout, as well as the treasures collected from Javier’s travels abroad.

Javier, an accomplished interior designer with a background in fashion and merchandising, has truly created a unique and eclectic space. With influences from Ralph Lauren and a moody, atmospheric ambiance, this home showcases a seamless blend of luxury, style, and personal touches.

Join us as we explore the various rooms, starting with the inviting living room. This is a space designed for comfort and conversation, perfect for hosting dinner parties or relaxing by the cozy fireplace. Javier’s love for vintage finds is evident in the carefully curated decor, such as a pair of chests with stonework and vintage wood, adding character and warmth to the room. Each item in this living space holds a story, whether it be a cherished family heirloom or a memento from a memorable trip.

The original mantle in the living room has been updated with a sleek black finish, effortlessly combining old-world charm with modern elegance. Plants, though not Javier’s strong suit, are artfully incorporated throughout the space, adding a touch of nature and freshness.

This is just a glimpse into the exquisite details and thoughtful design choices that make Javier Burkle’s bungalow a true work of art. If you’re passionate about home decor, interior design, or simply appreciate the beauty of a well-curated space, you won’t want to miss this captivating tour.

  1. Well i can honestly say you' ve got more money than sense £33 for a sticker .and people send you money on patreon to allow for all this wellbeing.just saying.

  2. It's more than a home–it's an experience. Interesting objects to view in every space, yet never overwhelming , "busy" or lacking in continuity. This is definitely the most exquisite home I've ever seen on Homeworthy. I'm so very inspired to evoke a similar feeling in my 1940 bungalow/cottage. Wow!

  3. 13 mins the colored print is of the battle of Waterloo dinner at Apsley House no 1 London Hyde Park. The gent standing up is the Duke of Wellington.
