*Full transcript of the video:*

This morning, I woke up early and headed to a Barry’s class. It reminded me of the time when we still lived in Toronto and had our old apartment. I had bought a fresh pack of Barry’s classes a couple of weeks before the first lockdown hit. After our move to Vancouver, I was lucky enough to transfer my passes to the local studio. Today, I’m taking you along on my morning workout routine. Let’s start the day off right with some exercise!

[Paragraph on the Barry’s class and its impact on workout routine.]

After finishing the class, I showered and got ready for the day. It’s amazing how much the Peloton treadmill has improved my Barry’s class experience. The beginner classes have truly helped me understand the fundamentals of running. I feel a significant difference compared to the pre-2020 Barry’s classes. Maybe, I’ll even start going for a jog someday. The possibilities are endless!

[Paragraph on the benefits of the Peloton treadmill and future fitness goals.]

Feeling energized, my partner and I decided to go for breakfast at OEB, a classic staple in Calgary. We used to visit this place regularly when we lived there during my university days. Now that they have a location in Vancouver, we love going whenever we can. Join us as we indulge in a delicious breakfast!

[Paragraph describing the breakfast outing and why they enjoy OEB.]

After breakfast, we headed to Delta to pick up a piece of furniture. We have an appointment for customer pickup, and I’m excited about the new desk we’re adding to the front room. Although we don’t have our dining room table yet, setting up this desk marks the beginning of transforming the front den. Come along as we bring the desk home and set it up!

[Paragraph about picking up the desk and the excitement for room transformation.]

Upon returning home, I cleaned up the front room and moved the rug under the coffee table. The room still needs some decoration, but here’s a glimpse of what we currently have, including the newly set up desk and chairs. I’m in love with the beautiful texture of the desk’s marble top and wooden legs. Additionally, the chairs from CB2 have been a long-awaited purchase. They may not be the most comfortable, but they’re adorable!

[Paragraph describing the current state of the room, featuring the newly set up desk and chairs.]

We’ve made progress in finishing up the front room, which will also serve as my office. Completing the setup of the desk was a satisfying step. Now, we just need to deal with the garbage and make a few lighting changes. Stay tuned for further updates on the room transformation!

[Paragraph on the progress of the room makeover and plans for future improvements.]

Lastly, a quick skincare update. I’ve been trying out new products, including an Allies of Skin cream that was recommended by Carolyn Hirons. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced an adverse reaction and have developed some skin issues. To address this, I’m treating myself to a facial and restocking my Skinceuticals products. It’s essential to have my skin ready for what’s to come. Join me as I take care of my skin and continue cleaning up around the house!

  1. I feel like you need to accept that you have sensitive skin and you should probably find what doesn’t make you react and stick to it, although I can see how that would be difficult when your job is to try products 😂

  2. Congratulations on Picante and welcome to America! I sure wish I lived in LA, I would have loved to have at least a small chance of running into you. Oh well, hello all the way from Indiana! Have a safe trip, I hope you guys have an awesome time.

  3. OMG picante is to be avaliable in distant locations soon! 😍 Congratz on it becoming permanent!
Also – front room looks amazing! It's so cosy, who cares if chairs aren't particurarily comfortable 😉

  4. Home updates are my fav i can’t wait for the full tour once everything is decorated and you’re happy with it. I love that you’re taking your time with everything. It motivated me to not buy a million home things at once and really listen to what I’m wanting and needed.

  5. Finally !!! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶😩😩😩😩😩😩🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶💕💗💕💗💕💗💕👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼YASSSSSSSSS

  6. Such exciting news! Congratulations on Picante becoming a permanent shade in the collection – can't wait to get my hands on it, when it's available in Canada. Will check Sephora imminently Also GORG new sitting room! I was going to ask if those chairs were comfortable as an office chair and found myself LOLing v hard at your immediate "deeply uncomfortable" response to them. Least they look great!

  7. love the desk chairs! sad that they aren’t super comfortable. I would try a burlap/jute/woven type of rug instead of the makeshift one you have – I think the shag of the rug is too much w the fluff/texture of the chairs. plus the neutral tan in the burlap/jute/woven will match the legs on the desk

  8. I just went through a reaction on my face as well it was a new face wash as well as a primer! I introduce them back in separately and figured out it was both 🤦🏼‍♀️
