The women who dress men

Women are increasingly breaking through the “fabric ceiling” in the fashion industry, which has been traditionally dominated by men. A 2019 study by PriceWaterhouseCooper showed that only 12.5 percent of fashion houses had female bosses. However, the latest men’s fashion week in Paris featured a number of exciting female designers focusing on menswear, including Grace Wales Bonner, Bode, Marine Serre, and Bianca Saunders. These women are attracted to menswear because it provides a unique opportunity to express themselves and challenge traditional notions of fashion. They also bring a different perspective to the industry, offering more diverse and fun options for men. Men’s fashion is becoming increasingly popular, and the next generation of female designers is poised to further disrupt the industry.
